Certain classes and instructors have posted information about specific classroom activities on this section of BSM’s Web site. Posting information in this area is at the discretion of individual teachers, and thus, the development will be gradual. Current features include:

Read The Odyssey by Homer and be prepared for two tests during the first week of school (an objective test and an essay test). There are many versions of The Odyssey; some are written in novel form while others are in epic poetry style. Any version is acceptable as long as it is the complete version (and not some watered-down segment of the entire book for younger readers). The version I gave students who came to pick up a book from me is translated by W.H.D. Rouse. This is a novel version and the ISBN# is: 0-451-52736-4. It should be available at your local library or any bookstore.
