2009 Individual Tournament Awards

The BSM Debate team took 4th place in Sweepstakes at the 2009 MDTA JV/Novice State Tournament!

Adam Bamonti and Kristian Evans became the Novice PF MDTA JV/Novice State Champions.  Also Adam earned 4th speaker, and Kristian earned 2nd speaker.

Alana Profit and Maddie Hibbs were Quarterfinalists in JV Public Forum at MDTA JV/Novice State Tournament.  Plus Alana earned 4th speaker, and Maddie earned 10th speaker.

Emily Busch was an Octofinalist and earned 2nd speaker in Novice LD at the MDTA JV/Novice State Tournament.

Michael Gerten was an Octofinalist in JV LD at the MDTA JV/Novice State Tournament.

Emily Herrmann was a Semifinalist and took 2nd speaker at the Robbinsdale Cooper/Armstrong Tournament in JV LD.

Emily Busch took 2nd in JV LD at the Robbinsdale Cooper/Armstrong Tournament.

Adam Bamonti and Kristian Evans took 5th in Novice PF at the Robbinsdale Cooper/Armstrong Tournament.

Bennett Kenzie was a Double Octo Finalist in LD at the Minneapple Debate Tournament.

Emily Herrmann and Emily Busch closed out the novice final round of LD at the Hopkins Royal Cup.

The BSM Team took 3rd place in sweeps at the Hopkins Royal Cup.

Emily Herrmann took 1st at the Blaine Invitational in Novice LD.

Emily Busch took 2nd at the Blaine Invitational in Novice LD.

Emily Herrmann took 1st place in novice LD debate at the Lakeville South Tournament.

Michael Gerten took 5th place in novice debate at the Flake Stakes Debate tournament.

Jacob Bunkers took 8th place in novice debate at the Flake Stakes Debate tournament.

Frances Jimenez was the 5th place novice speaker at the Flake Stakes Debate Tournament.

Will Scheid took 10th place in JV (both in speaker points and in rounds won) at the Flakes Stakes Debate Tournament.

Sean Simonson was the 4th place JV speaker and champion in JV debate at the Flake Stakes Debate Tournament.

Bennett Kenzie was the 1st place JV speaker and 2nd place JV debater at the Flake Stakes Debate Tournament.

Alex Smith was the 8th place JV speaker and 7th place JV debater at the Flake Stakes Debate Tournament.

Bennett Kenzie took 1st place in JV (both in speaker points and in rounds won) at the Eagan Wildcat Debate Tournament.

Liam Brew was the 7th place varsity speaker and 3rd place varsity debater at the "Bring Home the Bacon" Tournament in Austin, MN.

Elin Lantz was the 6th place varsity speaker at the "Bring Home the Bacon" Tournament in Austin, MN.

Bennett Kenzie was the 5th place JV speaker and 1st place JV debater at the "Bring Home the Bacon" Tournament in Austin, MN.

Nic Brinza was the 2th place JV speaker and 7th place JV debater at the "Bring Home the Bacon" Tournament in Austin, MN.
