Students participate in running a mock Minnesota State Government through the YMCA. About 1,500 students participate yearly. Students completely run legislatures, the executive and judicial branches, and create media relation opportunities. Students must commit to attending various meetings from October through January, one all-day Saturday conference and the four-day program in January.

Students in grades 8-12 may apply.
